Remember you cannot make real money online unless you are selling something.
And to sell something you must first locate a need. Find out what people need.
How often you are able to detect the needs of people [and then present the solution] will determine how far you will go financially.
To sell something you must find a hungry market. And then find hungry people in that hungry market. I hope you got that.
For example many Nigerians want to know how to make money online. That is a hungry market.
But if you have not made money online why will you sell them how to make money online. So in these case you find out some hungry markets in that hungry market. And one of such hungry market is how to open a clickbank and paypal account in Nigeria.
Anyone who wants to make money online in Nigeria MUST encounter such challenge. Meaning you keep making money selling that same the information product.
I have personally sold three different products that is all centered around” how to make money from paypal and clickbank” and trust me they have made me killing profits.
If you create such a product and then price it at N3,700 and then you find ways of getting 1,000 people to your site in 90 days. With just 500 sales that’s cool N1.8 million in just three months.
If you think that’s impossible then think again. My last product for 2008 that I sold did me over N3 million in less than 45 days. And I was selling to Nigerians like you and me.
My most recent product has done closely over N800,000 in just two weeks.
I tell you I am a master at information product selling. I look for niches in Nigeria and sell to them.
So find a need.
For example if you go to forums, find the sections that people read the most or the post that people read the most. That should give you idea.
If you go to Nairaland.com you will notice that a lot of people reads the romance and relationship section. That should give you an idea immediately that a product centered around that market will do great!
If you then go further by visiting that section [ just be careful because people post a lot of nonsense there] you will notice that some topics always have a lot of views.
Those posts/topics should spark up ideas and creativity in you.
For example while checking one day I found out that a post on “how to stop masturbation” had thousands of readers. And immediately I just knew that every reasonable person with masturbation would be willing to stop it.
So if I present a product of just N2,000 to them and other Nigerians selling 500 copies in my first month shouldn’t be a BIG deal.
Other places you can get ideas are newspapers, news, magazines and many more.
Membership Site: There are some markets where the people will keep buying and buying.. Like make money online, forex trading, stock market. E.t.c. If you want to target such markets then you should think of creating a membership site. This is one area many Nigerians don’t even know about.
Find a way to come up with a simple membership site and charge very low. Get lots of people to join and every month you make thousands of Naira. 400 People paying you N1,500 a month means N600,000 every single month. And by keeping your old customers and then adding new ones through advertising you can quickly build up to 1,000 people and that’s N1.5 million for you monthly.
The beautiful thing about membership site is that you can preload the informations ahead. That means you can put it on auto-pilot and that makes your work easier while you keep making your N1.5 million monthly. And that’s even on front-end alone.
What if you sell one new product every two months and you do just 500 sales at N7,000 that will be amazing N3.5 million extra!
